Dr. Richard Zimmerman (Doc Z) is a lifelong resident of Southern Illinois.

Dr. Zimmerman has been freeing people from pain since 1993. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Zimmerman is committed to promoting optimal health and the well being of patients. Dr. Zimmerman stays up to date on the latest advances in chiropractic care through extensive research, training and seminars held around the nation.

Dr. Zimmerman uses a "whole person approach". As your doctor of chiropractic it is his job to first properly diagnose the problem then to explain the diagnosis and give you a game plan as to what is the best way to treat and fix the problem. 

Dr. Zimmerman is a graduate of John A. Logan College, Southern Illinois University, and Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis.  He also earned his certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician. Additional certifications include: myofascial release, acupuncture, and an advanced certification in whiplash from the Spine Institute of San Diego, Ca.  Other post-graduate training includes orthopedics and rehabilitation. 

Doc Z and his wife Michelle have four children; Maxim, Alex, Drew and Anthony. Doc Z enjoys spending time with his family and all sporting events!!
